Kimberly Walters Jewelry

An aficionado of historical jewelry and anachronistic ways of life, Kimberly Walters is an approved sutler (seller of provisions to soldiers and civilians) through the battlefield reenactment organization British Brigade and Continental Line. She also authored A Book of Cookery, by a Lady, a cookbook modeled after ones common during the 18th century and which features authentic colonial recipes. Kimberly Walters also applies her gift for historical reproduction as the owner of the jewelry boutique K. Walters at the Sign of the Gray Horse. Kim's jewelry has been featured on television shows, within movies, in magazines, and on the cover of historical romance novels. She was awarded an Early American Life Traditional American Craft artist for 2018.

Operating since 2011, K. Walters at the Sign of the Gray Horse stocks a range of historic reproductions, antiques, and vintage-inspired items including necklaces, rings, brooches, shoe buckles, hat pins, and various forms of hair ornamentation. It also offers earrings for individuals with pierced and non-pierced ears. In addition to selling items from her tent set-up at historical craft fairs up and down the East Coat, this highly-specialized retailer maintains a strong online presence through its website and Etsy store "SignoftheGrayHorse". All proceeds of the business go toward its upkeep and the owner’s horse-rescue efforts, as well as the horses’ care.
